Ask God for anything, if it is meant to be and it is God's will, it will happen :) It's also a form of prayer...but always be grateful for what you have as well!
I sometimes wonder whether native Australian humans are like native Australian animals - on a different evolutionary line to the rest of the world. Why Germans?
