Mayhem, Chaos, Drama!

...wow, there actually IS none...now that's different...it's like I almost don't know what to do with myself! ;)

What luxury...I like it!!! :-D

Random aside...I'm desperately desiring a macro lens...but they are soooo expensive! Tempted to get and try a thingamejig called a close up filter...any thoughts? I guess I'll try and stick my old non digital 75-300mm lens on today and see if I can get any decent close up shots first...

edit: oops except for accidentally leaving the monochrome on sepia I actually liked all the shots I took in the whole 10 minutes of spare time I got for the entire day...I particularly like this one- I think it'd make a cute card! and yep, THANK GOD for the big lens...in the city a wide lens is pretty useless cos everything is just so damn ugly!

Why are you recommending that film about a fellow who kills himself? that sounds horrible.
;)

I dont know anything about camera parts...all I know is that my camera has a macro feature on it already. It would probably work better with a lens maybe.

It's always nice to have a break from the drama and chaos.

H.O....a good film is a good film...regardless of plot! (yes I'm wagging my finger at you...I take good films seriously...just cos they are so damn hard to find!)

Mate, sorry you'll have to make do with pics...I thought you didn't care to read "verbal diarrhoea" anyway! No more cHaos mate...I'm in retirement mode- peace, quiet and ZEN! :)

Shan...hmm I'm hoping this is not just a break from drama and chaos I'm too old for all that- I'm hoping it is this peaceful permanently...it's a new Tolle inspired era!

well, it's unAmerican (of course. it would be). We enjoy our protagonists alive at the end od a 'good' movie. In fact, in our culture, that's the *definition of a good movie.

Now, 'Life is Beautiful' (La Vita e Bella) was a good movie, in spite of a main character dying at the end of the film. But that was so depressing, I've only ever been able to watch it twice..

HO, yeah well that's probably why I hate most blockbuster (american) films! Control is a biography so they can't exactly keep a guy who kills himself alive just to keep american audiences happy!

I love La Vita E bella (that Roberto Benigni is awesome huh!) My other favouritest movie Italiano is definitely CINEMA PARADISO...

Yes, He's a riot! I quite liked him (his wife, as well. she's pretty cute). Seems I watched some other movie with the two of them in it. Can't remember which one it was, but it was really fun.
ok. I should really look it up. You've probably seen it. here we go.. "Johnny Stecchino" very funny (hilarious). loved it

GRrrrrr! LOL

leaving kids unattended on a beach is kinda...irresponsible!!!

having said that, I just found out I'm neither type A nor type B yesterday...and apparently that is the healthiest way to be :)

I think it's funny that my blood is type AB too.

msC, I agree that would be very irresponsible. that is why I did no such thing. That was the misunderstanding. I didn't leave them unattended at all. They were left with my husband. But I didn't get that across quite clearly when I was talking to SIL and so she started to freak out. I totally cleared things up though before being yelled at ('cause I DIDN'T DO Anything WRONG!) And I hate to be yelled at if I haven't done anything wrong.
