I think, whenever you first discover *Freedom* you get so obsessd in "making the most of it"-partially because you believe it's some kind of obligation and partially because you're trying to make up for lost time. For me that has typically meant proactively not being such a hermit and a lot of time and effort spent externally and on others.
Now I realise I'm tired. And it's unnecessary. A friend of mine planted in my mind the musing on "givers" and "takers" the other day. Which camp do you fall in?
I think it strange how we feel so much guilt taking time for ourselves. Spending time on yourself is one of the best investments you can make. We shouldn't need to feel so guilty about it...
There are so many things I need to do...for me! So tata for a bit...

after a lifetime of being a "giver" - mother, wife, caretaker, etc....i am now a "taker." and not feeling the least bit guilty at all. the kid is grown and on her own and i feel that this time now belongs to me....and hubby, is quite understanding, which is always a plus.
Freedom...that's funny because the hubby is watching Braveheart right now and he just yelled that out.
I used to feel guilty about taking time for myself now I just dont care. It's my life, so I'm gonna do it my way
