Freakazoids draw each other...obviously! LOL

hehe as you might have predicted, I do have and HAVE had some pretty *interesting* friends...okay, weirdo associations in my life to date ;)

HOWEVER...my blogger friend HO sure seems to be vying for that top position LOL!...I mean who the hell sends chewing gum to someone who obviously doesn't eat it JUST so they can put it in a cup in the kitchen cupboard for it's wonderful the whole world loves chewing gum smell "pot purri" effect?

SHEESH, some people are weirdos! LOL

I also got the cd, which I'm rather enjoying thanks. I had a lil something to
"right back at ya" but I figured I'd play it safe and get a proper customs declaration on it considering how US Post seems to classify all from me here as "of terrorist origin" and feel a need to intercept and open it to shreds...hmph...good cover for being bored out of your brain nosy curious parkers...grrrr!

Beauty-Full Astrology

LOL, I thought I noticed more attention than normal these last 2 days or so...but I thought perhaps it was all in my head. But today two people I actually know complimented me on appearance. The weird part is that being my usual dero self in tshirt, jeans and flip flops, stinking of therapeutic weed and with ungroomed hat hair, I wasn't exactly sure as to how I could attribute this seemingly new found "attractiveness"...

The funniest "explanation"?

Apparently Venus has just gone into Scorpio...so being a Scorpio, my horoscope says I will be at my peak attractiveness, LOL!

Considering I have had such minimal sleep since Tuesday night due to dental agony PLUS got overdosed with anaesthetic and pain killers and have been clasping an ice pack to my one inflamed cheek much of the day to stave off any more drug induced blurry consciousness....between the two crazy alternatives...I really have to go with the nonsensical astrology explanation....

Just imagine, if anaesthetic overdose and pain killers really did make one more aesthetically pleasing...wow what a boon to the pharmaceutical industry!

New Taste Sensation?

Just a thought that struck me randomly this morning...

Peanut Butter and Grilled Bacon = YUM???!!!

Somehow I think this could be an undiscovered taste sensation...and my next food fad phase if I ever get over this current purple taro cake swiss roll with coconut cream sago...Mmmm!

***Whaddya reckon....Grilled Bacon and Peanut Butter on toast- is this an undiscovered taste sensation waiting to be the next "tres cool" breakfast eating?

The other random thought I was interested to know this morning was:

***What are some amusing things people have said about you?...

Some of my closest peeps that have lived with me have all agreed on:

"For a small girl...you sure take up a LOT of SPACE!" ;)

!!!P.S Remember a while ago some of us bloggers were playing the "weird thing about you" game but I was a spoilsport and didn't play when tagged? Well there is a small tidbit if you're still curious, that I've left in the comments here. So yeah, you can't say I don't deliver on my promises...even if I do like to take my own sweet time about it ;p

I see coloured lights.

So, just like is becoming the norm for Friday night :p Grandma was in bed by 7pm, but this time so exhausted actually passed out for the last couple hours...and pretty much skipped dinner again-naughty!

The most interesting thing for the day was that I woke up completely drained and exhausted Friday morning with a huge headache on the same side that my last patient had had (before I had "treated" it)....ergh, the Empathic Headache. Actually it was more like a migraine(which was how the patient had put it)...so when I eventually dragged myself to class my friend very kindly gave me a head massage...WOW. I have never had a head massage before. The strangest part was that every time her hands moved over my eyes I saw coloured lights typically a bright grassy green. There was also a blue and purple light on other occasions. Interesting. Usually I only see coloured lights (turquoise green mostly and a splash of purple or pink on rare occasion) after a session of yoga or something. And in any case I only started seeing lights since being attuned to reiki. So that was kinda cool...I guess this friend also has very strong Healing Vibes :)

I need to work out some better protection for next time I think. Another friend concurred my experience that everytime she treats people "with intent" she always knows they got better cos she ends up with their shoulder, or tummy pain etc the next day. I did notice I had a headache on the same side on the same day after but was surprised when I had the full blown migraine on the same side as the patient had had the next day.

Other thing on my mind was that I miss having an animal...this is my little cutie from before(my first ever pet besides fish!) :

just I can barely even manage myself with this schedule let alone look after an animal. I guess at this particular time I don't feel like I can really relate to people...I think it's kinda like that funny movie Ghost World where he says:

"You can't relate to other people, so you fill your life with stuff... I'm just like all these other collector losers. "

I have to admit I do recognise lots of myself in Enid and I could see myself getting along well with a Seymour. (Maybe it's only the "abnormal" people who truly pique my interest enough for me to want to know them- I wonder why haha)

I think on a just meet acquaintance level, getting along with people for me is pretty breezy but to find people I truly connect with past that and actually enjoy their company repeatedly, well that's pretty rare. I guess at my core I'm innately antisocial- it's not that the skills are completely lacking, it's more like being sociable seems like too much effort relative to pay off unless I'm "in the mood". Like my mum reminded me "remember you used to have a big picture of the HERMIT tarot card stuck on your bedroom wall?"

I guess since about forever on both tangible and spiritual levels I never exactly fit in with the norm for my age. So I guess I'm feeling decidedly antisocial...but maybe that's just cos I probably overdid it with too much contact with people I don't resonate with this week thus feeling more aware of that normal gap that exists between people but which I don't feel so much with animals, or even more so in Nature.

LOL, on the last trivial recount of the day...my young friend actually started calling me "Grandma" (I guess I asked for it when I keep using it all the time LOL)...he msged me "hey grandma, I'm at the pub across the road, come join me!"

I didn't reply.

I guess it's allowed for me to call me Grandma but a sore point if a young guy does...*hmph!

A Strange Day In the Mail...

LOL actually there are way more interesting things that have kept me busy these past few days but this is the quickest, non-brain taxing one to blog...and believe me, my internet (for non-essentials) time these days is now at a premium!!

So I just went to get the mail when I took the garbage out after cooking not one but TWO meals...a really quick version of a Malaysian Curry and a really quick version of a beef bolognese sauce...WOW who knew that when I put my head down to it-with my new found "efficient" mode- that I could get so much achieved in such a small amount of time?! I can't believe how much time I've wasted all these years procrastinating and being so slow about everything! :p

But anyway to get back to the point...the mail.

Funnily enough I had three pieces of mail...one was a free complimentary pass for two to a free dinner(it stipulates a "couple"). The other envelope contained two free movie passes. The final piece of mail, although unwanted advertising, still managed to not be too offensive by being in the shape of fun cutout men picture above! What a strange day in the mail...

And what irony- I never got free double passes to anything for all that time I could have used them and now...

sheesh, I guess I need to find myself a boy...correction...a man! LOL

Kidding, reality calls...and I only have just enough time to go clean up the mess in the kitchen, shower and hit the sack for an early start and my longest day of the week tomorrow! *phew it's a busy, busy life again!

Will try and catch up with blogging backlog at week end if I get a chance...Have a good week, Ciao!

Lo Siento, Mi Cuerpa

(I'm Sorry, My Body)

Alternatively, this post could be called "Eww Z...That's Disgusting!!!"

So next week we have the tiniest little recess from semester...somehow my body was more than aware of the fact it could finally just "let go" cos I didn't leave my bed for the last SIXTEEN+ hours(!!!)

Exhausted.

Unbelievable! I'm not even jetlagged or sick- I have never spent so much consecutive time in bed! Just from that much rest I also noticed my pupils went all *sparkly* which is something I definitely have not seen for a looooong time...yes, Rest is Good! :)

In any case, basically that 16+ hours is the equivalent of about 3-4 Whole Days of my usual rest...I know-shocking, I definitely have been mistreating my body-basically because I'm so busy with daily grind the only time I get "leisure time" is to ill treat my body by depriving it of sleep so I can read blogs, see friends, blog ;) etc...

So anyway when I emerged from bed as the last rays of sun were dying it felt pretty disgusting to have slept the whole day away! And I really craved some fresh air...so taking a note from my friend who's doing a detox diet I cut loads of fresh veggies and fruits and packed them all up and rushed to the park with my IPOD and sand chair...one of the weirdest things I've done in a while but it totally made my day(or night)!

The quiet, clean air, the peace of nightfall was such a nice opportunity to detox and rejuvenate...and the best part? I saw stars! :-D

Even if you do get a couple weird looks by the occasional bypasser, at least you can rely on city people to mind their own business. I think I'll have to do it more during the warmer months- such a nice way to re-ground, really savour every mouthful of food and just

*Enjoy living in the moment*

The weirdness you get on the internet

Since I decided to participate in the online world (at an embarrassingly late age might I add), I've encountered more than my fair share of...weird stuff.

The most memorable would probably be the random marriage proposals...the funniest being the one where I got sent a couple of pages CV style with the title page emblazoned with a large photo and contact details.

That was awhile ago though. The most recent funny stuff would have to do with eye glasses! I don't understand...TWO companies now have asked me to mention their spectacle related companies in my postings...I have to say, it's a bit sus...why ask me- when I have like zero blog traffic? Surely you would approach a more significant blog which people actually read?!

In any case, I love writing. If you do want me to freelance write a review of your products I'd be happy to do so, however from my business minded point of view...how about I post it on a site which people actually read?! LOL

and p.s I need to at least trial your products or else how can I review them?! Cheers.
