To recap though, my very favourite German word is Schadenfreude. But that is old news.
So I have found a new favourite German word...Verliebtheit!!!
Beautiful, isn't it?!
Still never as beautiful as the French or Spanish language though....*sigh.

You should hear the bastardized french we have here in Canada. Not so pretty
heheheehehe Shannon !
;D Yes, I've heard they've quite mutilated it.
..trying to think if I have any favorite words in languages..
All I can come up with is amitié in French, along with the name Agnes (much better in French than in English). Would you believe C voted that name down when I proposed it for any child of ours?
heh
I'll have to think on this.
I know that lots of people love german for the fun nouns they make.. Our friend studied German, and he had one favorite word (I forgot what it was. Sorry).
hmm... I'll have to think on this (nice diversion for the day).
Thanks Zhen. Now I have something fun to do today..
Ok, I have a list now.
va-nu-pied - person who goes barefoot
pouvoir - 'power' and also 'to be able to'
bravore - bravery
selon - according to
celui - that
(really like these kinds of words.. all their pronouns)
mec - guy
quiconque - whoever
quotidien - daily
(these are really fun to say. quiconque is just fun, and quotidien just rolls of the tongue so beautifully)
OK.
And for spanish I like:
queriéndote (does that count as one word?)
got that from a song..
en espanol me gusta "chico" y "pocitito" haha
en Français, j'aime "claquee"(deadbeat exhausted!)
claquee.. I like it!
ok - how 'bout English words.. any takers?
