Diamonds don't Crack, do they?

Yeah I know H.O I'm running atrociously behind and I know I still owe you a good ol "farmer" post but you'll have to be contented with A Girl's Best Friend in the meantime...

cos I have this recurring dream...NIGHTMARE! I look down at the ring on my hand only to discover a big gaping hole(s) where the diamond(s) should be! ARGHHHHH....Stress!

In this latest edition I looked all over the carpet and found 2 fakes of bad quality probably glass...and the third one I found was my one...the real twinkling thing...it had cracked at it's base out of the setting!

But after waking from the nightmare my rational brain realised...DUH diamonds don't even crack/break...or do they?

In any case this dream got me missing the beauty of mine on my fingers...so since I now live in a much more civilised, gentrified, snooty (read:affluent) area where not every second person wants to mug you cos there are so much bigger fish to fry, I was really tempted to unleash my beauties from their place of safekeeping...cos hey, it's not a CRIME to like wearing diamonds...after all, they ARE a girl's best friend ;)

And that was two steps backward for the feminists...sorry! One step forward for the boy-girl tho ;) (My best, misanthropic, man-hating, moralistic, always shaking her head at me and my antics girlfriend actually APPROVED too! wow, great :D

*twinkle twinkle sparkle sparkle*

Now did you title this post as you did on purpose? 'cause I'm just thinking diamonds as people - and yeah they can crack. ...

I think this dream tells a lot about your experiences and the cracking diamond is a fantastic metaphor of your present view of life. Do you remember how you felt when you noticed the diamond was cracked? accepting? annoyed? sad? surprised?

Its no crime to be a little girly or a lot girly if that is the way you are. Enjoy it! My daughter is girly and does boy things in a girly way. I like a photo I have of her on a Karratha BMX track riding her bike with a flower covered basket on her handle bars.

I don't even know if it is a present view of life i think it is more a deep seated fear...

hmm probably shitting myself panicking...

I think I'm not very girly just idealistic...I was definitely very boy from very young for the loooongest time- no dresses, only pants, no pink, never played Barbie(who I recognised as a bimbo way back) and I never had any girlfriends...I only played with boys and beat them at marbles too :) but when it came to the hard core gross stuff like picking up spitfires and killing them to mush and swallowing gravel I gratefully opted out :)

your daughter sounds like the child in me...I still don't know how to ride a bike and have been banned from learning the past few years...suck :P

I was decorating my room lately and noticed it is heaps girly in decorations I think as I get older I'm becoming more balanced with growing yin energy or else making up for neglecting being girly in the past.

How could you been banned from riding a bike? It amazes me that someone does not know how to ride a bike! Is'nt that the next big thing after learning to walk?

lol, i'm asian that explains the "amazing" part, lol!...we get raised in tough plastic bottles...don't rub it in...me and wheels are ignorant...exactly why I need a chauffeur...but how cool would it be to be able to ride a bike...I know exactly the track I want to conquer too- I think it runs by the water for 12km or so.
