Welcome back to (sanity) and the land of the living Z...

I finally got SLEEEEEP for the first time in THREE AND A HALF...MONTHS!!!!

SLEEP! SLEEP! SLEEP! Did any word ever sound so SWEEEET??!

Who new moving houses could be such a health hazard?

Oh well I worked it out now. And once I catch up on the last 3.5 months, I'm hoping to get back into the full swing of busy bee LIFE!!! Maybe 20kms under the old speeds, lol I need to recognise the fact I'm getting old...

I need to catch up on blogs though, lucky I have a long weekend for that. Anyway I think I'll go back to bed now :)

Hiding under a Ball Cap

Just a quick trivial update. I'm wearing a BALL CAP which I haven't done regularly since I was 12 and/or the 2000 Olympics uniform.

Anyway I'm starting to like the look- it's really quite an attractive way to COMPLETELY hide my butchered hair that was butchered so bad and is so lopsided(even in a ponytail) it's going to take months...

People are just wondering why I am wearing a ball cap indoors in the middle of winter. Along with my usual dark glasses I feel nice and safe in my little tortoise shell :)

Knowledge is Power or Ignorance is Bliss

I found myself pondering this dichotomy of sorts today...

I would say I have gathered a lot of knowledge however I'm not sure how powerful it is. I think the more you know, the more you FEAR which is completely disempowering...

I am more likely to hold to the Ignorance is Bliss. I guess it's that middle path thing, if I grew up in a primitive community without any education that would probably be not enough knowledge. However I've had the opportunity to have A LOT of education...I think too much...however can you ever have too much knowledge? I find myself with an insatiable thirst and appetite to know and know and know.

Maybe it's like that saying "Curiosity killed the Cat".

P.S more advice from another part of Europe "Drug yourself and get on a f* plane to Europe!" LOL, I wish...maybe I need to put this intention out into the universe...however I'm not sure if it's what I really want. I have no idea what I really want. This reeks of midlife crisis. Although I thought I'd been through that already? I guess I'm waaay ahead of my time LOL!

Word from Civilization!

I opened the mail box to a sopping wet kaleidoscope of colours. Postmark:UK. Chuckles...

News from Civilization! (Anything from Europe counts, lol).

Anyway moral of the story is...never eat late at night. I couldn't sleep and found myself fantasizing about moving to European remoteness...

When I was younger I still had a lot of cool friends based here. But mostly, as it has always been, it was about my study, my career and having my own business. If that option is now out...well...the doorway in my perception just seemed to get a whole lot wider. Maybe I should start learning German, lol...

The only thing I'd miss about here is probably the weather(historically) -although this year has been pretty unseasonal and miserable. I'd also miss the amazing fresh local organic produce. And family...but that's about IT really.
