Apparently this is what you call a Nice Butt...

LOL...this is my farmer's Cow parading in a show...took out some kind of champion. I just thought it was hilarious the pictures taken from a farmer's perspective...at no time did any pictures show a FACE or HEAD which is the thing I would be interested in! To be honest I'm not interested in looking at cowbutts!!!

Obviously, I'm not a farmer!

Apart from that here's another funny pic which I spied today...funny, cos you would NEVER see such a *cute!* sign like this in the city...

I dreamt I had a Hairy Chest...

And had to Shave it!!! BEAT that for a dream HO, lol...not as nightmarish as I would have thought but icky feel...

Obviously deep down somewhere someone still has latent Man Wannabe issues...LOL!

Have a good weekend...hope you're still laughing!

Chanting to Open the Chakras

My Brit friend went all hippie (a page out of my book at the same age) while she was in New Zealand...she started doing chanting exercises everyday- I just found some to try and open blocked chakras...this chanting business is actually quite fun!

My other fun-ness for the night was watching HAMISH AND ANDY'S GAP YEAR...hilarious! This is the most funny show I have ever seen come out of Australia just about-perhaps this country's one saving grace regarding males of my generation! Definitely worth watching...two out of two episodes I watched I actually laughed so hard I almost spat on the floor...now that's gotta be funny! *LOL*

Okay, enough, this farmer is tired. Time for bed.

More City Slicker Firsts

I was going to hang my washing despite the wet (I didn't have much choice as I am about to run out of essential undergarments and enough warm clothing)...I didn't think to check my fake hot pink Crocs (garden shoes which I would never wear out in public and can't believe people that do)....I ended up stepping on a SLUG which had taken shelter in them for the 2 minutes I had left them alone...in my bare feet...a squeal was emitted then a bit of comical hopping around- it took about 10s to recompose including the cracking up at my own pathetic-ness...

What was my revelation with this new First?
BOY do slugs live up the their hype!!! The trail of SLIME still left on my Croc after I had removed the offending invertebrate was seriously gooey...and I had to change shoes. I still have the offending dried slime on the bottom of my foot though...I guess it's all about repeated exposure and desensitization...next time I hope to not take 10s to recover, lol, can't promise I'm not going to squeal like a girl though :P

p.s HO, do you see I am starting to desensitize to Hot Pink? I still am not a fan of baby pink though. One day I may get a bright pink hoodie to match my Crocs LOL slowly but surely I am becoming a Girl, maybe it's all the desensitization from you keeping on sending me all those PINK CARDS! *Sheesh...Good grief Charlie Brown!

p.p.s It's fantastic PIE weather...my favourite! Too bad my chief pie makers have left to 1. England and 2. Africa respectively. I guess I'm going to have to bring out the big guns and learn to make them on my own...how rude!

HAPPY EASTER! With...Orgasmic Chocolate...

OMG HO this stuff is soooo goood...thank you :DDD!!! I had to take pictures: (too bad they're all overexposed cos I forgot to adjust the setting).

Chocomail by Chocolove courtesy of HO...

Freeze Dried Raspberries in Belgian 55% cocoa dark chocolate...Read it and WEEP! (if you don't have any now)

I think the Americans had to radiate the chocolate as part of their counterterrorism measures...either that or BOY is it HOT in Utah!!! ;)

The Perfect Chocolate Bar into a Girl's Heart...Complete with (Cheesey) Love Poem, LOL!!

Oh I was going to stick these on your envelope HO but in between where I was and your envelope I passed my worn nature themed lime green water bottle...so that is where they ended up ;)

This Blog's Closest Brush with "Art" :p

Once upon a time, when I was but a wee child, before I had been Completely Indoctrinated by the Asian Parent System, I loved to create (and was recognised as somewhat 'talented')...to the extent that I even had a dedicated painting smock- well actually it was a beige white and brown striped collared shirt probably from an Op Shop and not unlike some old man's daggy pyjama top.

That was a long time ago.

After an extremely long absence, I found myself picking up paints and brushes again tonight... I didn't exactly create anything spectacular but rather, tentatively played with the medium like so...

...remembering why it was never a favourite medium! Especially Cos check out the Spectacular MESS it leaves behind which I have noone to clean up for me instead of me :P

Not to mention it's DIRTY:

And I feel incredibly sick-nauseous and headachey- now...from those supposedly "non toxic" fumes...

:-(

Apart from that, I leave you with more pics: a funny sms exchange with my b'day twin who despite being Very Young age-wise still identifies as one of the relatively more mature souls of The Universe...

Apologies for the cynicism (and the "Sic") but, hey...REALITY...Can you BLAME us?

We're...IDEALISTS!!! :-p

Rude, but Funny.

Oh yeah with all that ranting and raving I forgot the one thing that brought a wry smile to my face-it came in the mailbox as usual...

It was a letter.

From my health fund. Asking me to consider upgrading my insurance policy to include pregnancy and childbirth services...yeah right!!! I hardly think it possible when there is nobody I'd even want to touch with a 10foot bargepole in this city :p

In any case I thought, unsolicited, it made for a a pretty rude mail offering...but I guess their computer automatically generates these "cordial invitations" once a female hits a certain age...

geez, if I think about it, it's pretty offensive!!!

Shan, I'd like to hear what your reaction would have been...

p.s I think I definitely live up to the title "Grandma" cos I still can't bring myself to buy a pair of shorts to wear under my arty dress cos they are all SO SHORT! lol, the irony.

A Little Giggle

Before I stick my head on the chopping block anyway :P

I was checking my cooler blog and noticed that if you type in "what if I smell pot on a student" you can get to it...also "can't stop sneezing cold" and "I smell of pot". LOL, glad to know that blog is of such great community service...

at the end of the day...INNOCENT(unless proven guilty).

Silence is Golden

Silence, Intuition, Resonance, Understanding.

My spiritual rennaissance of sorts is manifesting as The Hermit typically found on tarot cards.

Like I said earlier, all I feel like doing is going to the beach, sitting and breathing.

And I'm gripped by a new found appreciation of silence and lack of desire to talk. And I'm really grateful for those people I can just be with, in silence.

I'm also grateful for my international friends...That is the beauty of the internet, friendships defy all typical sociocultural barriers. Hence I am blessed with friendships I would never have come across in tangible life...

Actually this was a pretty funny exchange between Me & S which just highlights the beauty of crossing cultural barriers...

She finished an email with "Life is just a bowl of cherries"...well, I'd never heard that expression before however my Brit friend from down on the farm and I had been discussing cherries lately so the way I guessed that expression to mean was that,

"Life just gives you the shits!" ;)

Haha! I am so glad to provide the rollicking laughter on two sides of the globe for the day LOL

It's all a Matter of Perception ;)

There's no doubt that I've always been "The Black Sheep" of the family....Hands Down.

With my unusual life experiences to date, even if it wasn't innately inherent, it was bound to happen anyway...LOL

The other day it came up again when I was detailing more future planned adventures to my mum...she interrupted with...

"Why do you have to do these things? Why are you so different to the rest...why can't you be more like the others? More...Normal?! "

When I was younger, sure things like things didn't make me feel too good...rejection from your own mother! *sheesh*

But some people are just conventional- they like to follow the crowd. That would be my mother. Any deviance from what everyone else is doing plants a seed of Fear in people like her. People like that need to loosen up and appreciate that everybody is different. How boring would the world be if everybody were the same? I appreciate that even in grass there are many shades of greens and yellows and blacks and reds, all different textures and smells, inhabited by different kinds of animals.

I am glad I've finally reached a stage where I can be comfortable to be Me...

And the way I see it is...

Why would I want to be just "Normal", when I can be "Special"? ;)

Cheers :)

p.s this is the funniest thing I have read in the news for a while!

Eeevil Kneeevil.

Hehe...I love observing and studying people- their perceptions, their impressions...it is an endless source of fascination for me.

There are not many people who know about or follow my blog and as such they know very little about me...

Every once in a while I might "reveal" something that they didn't quite expect since I am the multifaceted complication that I am...

For me it is an endless source of amusement...if it is from someone in the online world the reaction typically takes the form of an email shot back straight away with the first line being a big question ending in ...??!!!!

LOL. Cheap Thrills, but it never ceases to stop amusing me.

I'm pretty busy now doing last minute stuff and my net download is all used up so no ability to entertain any media viewing...sorry artistic creative folks.

Zhen's Law of Floods and Droughts and general irony is back though...as I prepare to leave civilisation of both physical and virtual realms...suddenly there has been a recent upsurge in interesting people cropping up out of nowhere! weird.

anyway, hopefully they'll still be around when I get back. I LOVE Interesting People :)

Hilarious!

okay so when I first got this email I found it absolutely hilarious! I wasn't going to publish it on my blog...but S encouraged me to ;)

This is just great testament to show how people have REALLY different levels of sensitivities and how some people like to take out their bad days on others...

(Names have been changed to protect privacy and to prevent me from being sued for defamation LOL)

Analysis
Being a nice person, I went past the thought "man, this guy is totally touchy, unprofessional and rude and I can understand why business is ailing" and wrote back "Sorry had capslock on. Didn't realise it was that offensive. Cheers."

Because my laptop often locks up on capslock and cos alot of people write in capitals I didn't see anything wrong with my capslock message, and as S points out I wrote PLEASE and THANK YOU so how on earth could that be seen as "rude"?!!

I guess maybe we're not so with it- that in netiquette, capslock is interpreted by generic people as yelling...in any case the unsubscribe link in their original email was not working and I had to send an unsubscribe request 3 times for it to actually be done, so even if it was unintentional, they totally deserved to be yelled at into action! LOL

In any case latest life update- I'm feeling old and very responsible adult. In the past 12 hours been a little stressed and worried - was made aware of some of the heavier sides of life which you are blissfully sheltered from by your parents as a kid.

Still feeling rather disillusioned with the state of society (especially cityfolk)- people are so selfish, inconsiderate, such...takers - there are so few obviously decent people in the city which makes the decent people shine out even more like a twinkly star, and hence I am very grateful and appreciative for this minority. I am also starting to notice that good natured, fair and just people are few and far between...at least a compelling reminder for why I will always love Me! ;)

Funny Antidote

From R: it's pretty good!!!
