Progress...AT LAST!!! :o)

LOL...it is like some ridiculous time here and my weekend is so busy but as a hardcore blogger I HAD to UPDATE ;)

Cos wow so exciting...FINALLY I was able to ACHIEVE...SOMETHING...new!!! woohoo! :D

Can you guess? (If no, read *THE HINT*)

*HINT*...well I can only so far go in a straight line, lol. Any kind of bumps send me careening all over! LOL!!!

So yeah...finally I am on my way to achieving a life long dream, lol, well at least one of many...another two include learning the piano and being conversationally fluent in another language that I get to use...I'm figuring in Oz the only worth learning are a) Mandarin or b) Japanese...considering I much prefer the people and culture of the latter I'm thinking b). But who knows...I have no idea if I will have the time and discipline and commitment or motivation...

So yeah for other WOULD BE WANNABE BIKE RIDERS here is what I learnt in my *breathrough* moment of being able to pedal continuously...

1. YOU SERIOUSLY NEED A BIG WIDE FLAT ROAD. All this time since my dad bought me the bike the few times I tried was in a narrow short driveway with potplants and recycling bins in the way. Until you are fairly good there is NO WAY you can manouevre those kinds of obstacles at low speeds, let alone learn to pedal! So basically yeah that was the main issue...basically as soon as I worked up the guts to try out on the road I was very quickly able to pedal the bike!! (Steering is another story...lol let alone balancing- so far forward momentum is my best friend, oh...along with my...brakes(!!) HAHA

So yeah apart from that exotic earwax effects of Thai food and chatting with 91 year old sailors who fought in the Korean war, it's shaping up to be a very interesting and fun weekend! But more interesting revelations and anecdotes later...

Hope yours is fun too...

Pink Love Hearts and Fluffy Bunnies!!(that's SARCASM.)

So this is my problem...

there are very few things I can COMMIT to and persist with...furthermore there are very few things that I find COMPELLING enough to INTEREST me!

LOL, does that sound like a spoilt brat? hahaha I guess that is what happens when you have always grown up so mentally stimulated and had a rather interesting existence...full of strange and interesting random encounters...lol

So anyway...YESTERDAY...completely unexpected I spent near 3 hours chatting to a FIFTY-NINE year old. LOL it's great when I do find that rare affinity and resonance but SHEESH is it starting to frustrate me that I can't find a mental connection with anybody in my own geography that isn't wrinkly with white hair LOL...it's like can't there be ANYONE within 10 years of me in reasonable geographical proximity that I want to know and don't find incredibly boring/immature/trivial or dumb?

I'm just wondering when I should start getting the CATS!...LOL But I still need a BOWLO buddy...hmmm maybe I just have to start being a lurking stalker and hang out at one and somehow stealthily infiltrate myself into a game with random strangers...oh something I got told by different people recently...apparently I "brush n blow" people off! LOL seriously, I never noticed...I'm an INTJ- 100% of the time I'm focused on the purpose or event not the social interaction purely to connect with another person for no apparent reason! LOL

On the whole though I am having quite a bit of fun-as usual partaking in things where I am energy scattering all over the place cos I always have so very many interests and always let myself be pulled in so many directions...I feel like a planetary star!

I am REALLY appreciating the warm weather though...suddenly I'm feeling way more energised etc and have really enjoyed stuffing my face silly the past few days with all the good food that can be found in big cities.

On another note I have also been AMAZED at how similar my birthday twin and I are and how similar or at least coincidental our daily lives seem to be...it's like we are two separate entities but living parallel lives sharing the same experiences in the universe...it is quite mindboggling how similar our experiences are down to the timing of events, the NAMES of the people we meet and how we interact with them on a daily basis, our health issues etc etc...seriously sometimes (apart from age) I REALLY feel like my birthday twin is like maybe a small piece of me that fell off and regenerated into a total being many years later...even she says she sees her future in me! What a scary thought...lol

Anyway...found this bag that I was carrying around all yesterday kind of amusing...I mean I don't think I ever saw a a plastic carry bag more appropriate to me! hahahahah ;)

Chanting to Open the Chakras

My Brit friend went all hippie (a page out of my book at the same age) while she was in New Zealand...she started doing chanting exercises everyday- I just found some to try and open blocked chakras...this chanting business is actually quite fun!

My other fun-ness for the night was watching HAMISH AND ANDY'S GAP YEAR...hilarious! This is the most funny show I have ever seen come out of Australia just about-perhaps this country's one saving grace regarding males of my generation! Definitely worth watching...two out of two episodes I watched I actually laughed so hard I almost spat on the floor...now that's gotta be funny! *LOL*

Okay, enough, this farmer is tired. Time for bed.

"You're a Full Blown Hippy!"

My mother decided I've become this lately.

I'm glad to say I'm SERIOUSLY enjoying it. Had heaps of fun at an organic expo and totally stuffed my face COS I COULD. And what greater joy is there to stuff face with lots of good food and have no limits?!

Anycase now that I'm going all chemical free etc I can't do a whole lot that used to bring me joy eg:eating out with friends, which is good cos that means I can save my money for very selective and costly things(yes, unfortunately going chemical free is seriously expensive...sad to admit I am a High Maintenance Girl...cos my food bills alone could buy a house! But hey, life is too short to eat crap and put crap into your body.

Anycase my favourite parts were discovering ingenious inventions that support a more sustainable natural lifestyle such as the very fun idea of "aquaponics" eg kill 2 birds with one stone-use your pet fish poos to grow some nice vegetables which grow so many times faster than in conventional soil :)

I also enjoyed the scientific talks on reducing toxic load in the modern world.

Trying all the different products that I couldn't ingest.

Finding out about soapnuts-little nut things that can be used instead of normal laundry detergent.

But at the end of the day...food, glorious food! Yay says this piggy. Now that's my idea of a GOOD TIME! *lol

I didn't make such a huge dent this time...but that's cos I'm still researching and deciding what designs etc I want on some of the bigger purchases eg a ceramic water purifier. (I got a really cute little BPA free Stainless Steel water bottle which says "Hippy" all over it- lol...will have to upload a pic sometime.)

I also want to get this hippy band thing for my energetic field but alas they ran out of my size...but will get one eventually-lol talking to the chick she said I was not the first energetic healer to come and say "I'm REALLY SENSITIVE" and report all the weird bodily sensations she could feel immediately.

Oh the other fun part was being amongst weird bubble people like me...if anything even more fussy and affected than me...complaining about all flame retardant in the carpet causing their various ailments etc etc. I guess having lived in such crap chemicals for so long so intensely I'm not gonna whinge like the people who are used to the clean serenity of natural farms etc....one day though...I'm still gunning to go hermit on a desolate island one day as soon as feasible :)

It's 1:49am. And I have an exam tomorrow. But I have been too busy to sleep...playing at my latest FAD....SO FUN!!! Best discovery since the Mr Squiggle Drawing Tool...

I will publish some of my patterns here...later...like, when I shouldn't be sleeping, or studying :P

Some fun places on the internet.

I've been working like a MACHINE so spare me this idle distraction...

This Sample Four Pillars of Destiny report was absolutely HILARIOUS!
The part that made me crack up cos I think it's a load of b.s is "you are a hyper sexy person."
The part I thought was totally spot on was "you are chatty and talkative and speak without reservation - this causes misunderstandings with sensitive people or people who don't know you well".

I thought it was about 70% accurate...perhaps the other 30% is true, but yet to be discovered..LOL

Another place I visited this week which I think is super cool is this Chakra self test- basically you can determine which imbalances you currently have and then you can do these exercises to redress the balance...

Or, if you're lazy like me, you can just cheat and use aromatherapy essential oils...

Here's a few recommended oils to balance chakras summarised below :)

Base - myrrh, patchouli, vetiver
Sacral - clary sage, fennel, sandalwood
Solar Plexus - cedarwood, coriander, black pepper, hyssop, marjoram
Heart - bergamot, lavender, melissa, ylang ylang
Throat - basil, cypress, peppermint, rosewood
Third Eye-rosemary, juniper, lemon
Crown -frankincense, rose
