Have no idea where the water came from though LOL

Thanks also for letting me know about the pendant will check out in due course not that I'm a big fan of jewellery...I do Zz...https://www.blogger.com/profile/13253721870926432958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546051130437728621.post-24536129739773676762008-11-11T22:05:00.000+11:002008-11-11T22:05:00.000+11:00Oh - I got a PS for you. I know I'm not supposed to pimp for other sellers - but really it is such a beauty (you can see the hexagonal formation of the ruby crystal) and I remember you saying that you were drawn to this stone. (There is a link to her shop in my blog post). Also she's in Australia.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546051130437728621.post-82432747602315218382008-11-11T22:00:00.000+11:002008-11-11T22:00:00.000+11:00Ok Hubster has had a look. He thinks it could be a type of sandstone (with the quartz in it) and that it looks as though at some time is has been in a riverbed (intriguing since it was found in the desert). The red could be from iron but could also be the result of heat - was it found in an area where there are forest fires, could it have been in a campfire? He says itAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546051130437728621.post-42304119335969411452008-11-11T03:50:00.000+11:002008-11-11T03:50:00.000+11:00It looks like some type of jasper...but hard to sa...It looks like some type of jasper...but hard to say. Does it have any chatoyancy (shiny bits like cat's eye)?

Will ask hubby when he's around.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546051130437728621.post-48793641775654540812008-11-10T21:33:00.000+11:002008-11-10T21:33:00.000+11:00Good on ya :) Go Horace!Good on ya :) Go Horace!markymark2099https://www.blogger.com/profile/16202206006442088146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7546051130437728621.post-90094812152343727232008-11-10T16:47:00.000+11:002008-11-10T16:47:00.000+11:00Yay!
